Have you ever wondered why there is such a big fuss about Shui and Muslims are taught to put their trust in Allah and not Feng Shui?

I can tell you that the quran teaches everyone to put their trust in Allah and not Feng Shui, because Feng Shui is only a form of asian mysticism which does not have any bearing with the real teachings of Islam.

The shura (marriage) laws of Islam clearly state that a Muslim’s marriage is a commitment of two souls which have been united by the divine essence of Allah.

So one cannot argue that shura is an important part of a person’s life because it is the contract which binds two souls together.

In Islam, a Muslim’s relationship with his or her spouse is a very intimate one and no physical or emotional intimacy can be allowed between them unless it is stipulated in the sharia.

However, this does not mean that Muslim couples should not have some form of physical intimacy as long as it is not forced upon them in violation of their religious obligations.

This brings me to another question. If a Muslim wants to marry a non-Muslim, do they believe that it is haraam (forbidden) for them to do so?

In order for your actions to have any meaning, you must believe in what you do; therefore, if you do not believe that it is haraam for a Muslim to marry a non-Muslim, then you are not following the true essence of Islam.

To belong to a group, or to belong to a religion, is to believe in its principles, and adhere to its principles. Believing in what your teachers say is essential in becoming a true Muslim, but it is not necessary for you to completely believe in what the scholars say. You must believe in what the Quran says, and what the hadith says, and what the wisdom of the religion says about marriage.

Can you imagine a Christian marrying a Hindu? Of course not. But in the Muslim community, this is usually the case.

In Islam, it is essential for a Muslim to believe that his marriage to his wife is valid unless proven otherwise, and that his wife can break away from him if she feels like doing so. The same principle applies to marriage. Thus, when it comes to marriage, many Muslims are taught to put their trust in Allah and not Feng Shui.
